Uppark House, West Sussex
Uppark House, West Sussex
The historic Uppark House in West Sussex (England) is a late seventeenth century country house, now owned by the National Trust. The property was seriously damaged by a fire on 30th August 1989, but many historic items from the house were saved. Uppark was restored following a meticulous conservation process with much surviving original material incorporated where possible. The house re-opened to the public in 1995.
